new york!

before i went to Melbourne, i met up with the girls. picked them up and off we went to the Curve. but it failed to impress us with its choices of restaurants. ewah. we then headed to One Utama. due to our undecided-ness of where to eat, we turned to the trusted directory board. a couple of minutes later.... still undecided. lalala. with that, we moved on, walked aimlessly (might not be true) until we saw IT. NEW YORK. it's a sign. we ARE going to NY, SOON... or not. okay, maybe not. oh well, if we don't get to go we might as well try the 'Authentic New York Indulgence'.

and boy, did we indulge!

mushroom pizza..yumm

then the most awesome thing happened. we ordered the mudpie (mud? eww) but we got the deep fried Mars bar instead. i was like, "EXCUSE ME." (no, i didn't say that out loud) but but don't worry, that confusion rewarded us with TWO desserts! double fatty! yay!

deep fried Mars bar with ice-cream.
oily(?) and sinful. but i LOVED it.

mudpie!
drool much?
you should! because it was simply
amazing.

hey, guys..what's with the sunnies?
HAHA.

baby got bags

things that make me happy

huge ass balloon thingy
(whatever you call it)

shopping!

and santa!(?)
lol.

the top i wore was the only clothing i bought (which was so not me). the moment i went into Glassons, that blouse caught my eyes. i grabbed it and asked B (my cousin's daughter) if it's pretty. she said NO (what does a 9 year old know about fashion anyway?pfffttt) i bought it and it turned out to be my favourite blouse for the week. weee..

its weird, really. that this time, i completely turned a blind eye on clothing. i was more into bags. clutches, handbags, wallets. the handbag i was wearing, was a gift from my dear cousin, T. i absolutely loooove it. thank youuu! then, there's mom, who bought me another handbag as a graduation present. it is the bag of the year! hihi. (and yes, i wore the same cardie twice)

bag: Tony Bianco

then my brother bought a clutch for me. on top of that, i bought a wallet with the same style as the clutch. to compliment each other lah (as if!).

die heart

it scares me,

that i still felt something
after everything that had happened.
my heart literally felt like DYING.
surreal.

i should have probably
be OKAY right about now.
i mean, c'mon..

people change.
feelings falter.
bitterness lingers.
and honestly,

LOVE SUCKS.

all the time.

for one more day

last week was nerve-wrecking. i didn't have the time to think, to react and really didn't know what to expect. i waited too long for it to happen and when it's finally here, i panicked. graduation isn't a big deal for me before. i guess, it's different this time because i needed it to happen. anyhoo, the 6 of us went. my mom, aunt, cousin and cousins' daughters. and boy, was it the busiest week ever! i had to entertain them, brought them places where they 'invested' their dollars at. well, i did too. LOL. i haven't managed to get all the pictures, so i'm just gonna post the ones i have.

i just wanted to pixel(ate) their faces but don't know how

we went kangaroo sight-seeing.
soo cute!

we were quite stingy with our (i mean theirs') paid food. i mean, these marsupials charged towards us like some gangsters demanding money. haha. one particular kangaroo bit the paper bag then woosshh..a quarter of the seeds spilled. what a waste. but but, i think my family had fun. i know i did. though that was my 4th visit! i am not going there anymore! unless i'm sponsored.

the next day was my graduation day. we walked our famous parade in the morning and the official ceremony was done at night. it was a very windy and COLD. hence, ignore my ugliness (though i do admit i'm always ugly.haha). not to forget, my hair was EVERYWHERE. showing off generous amount of scalp. yes, scalp. i'm not known for having luscious thick hair. i'm known otherwise. haha.

told you

see the hair

with D, Dr. KJ and Dr. A

love youu!

then, for the rest of the week, we went shopping..

these aren't all mine okay

i had to say that we spent most of our time shopping and less sight-seeing. it wasn't our fault. we didn't ask them to put up sales stickers and what not. pfftt.. on the night prior to our flight back, we went crazy packing our luggage. all of us had excess baggage! the next day, we prepared ourselves with extra moolah to pay for extra kilos. lol. but alhamdulillah, we weren't charged. thanks to the nicest airasia crew. if you often fly airasia from Melbourne, you'd notice this Chinese Muslim woman at the check-in counter. yeah, she's our angel.

i'll update more soon. i'm waiting for the rest of the pictures from my brother.

ungrateful.

booty

living at home with nothing to do can be blissful if not boring. i've a lot of free time to surf the Internet and to start daydreaming all day. i can get an A+ if there's an exam on that subject! i've stumbled upon a couple of websites that i have come to love. one of it is NastyGal.

i just adore their vintage collections. i feel at home. lol. thank god i haven't had any paychecks (hence, daydreaming). so last night i stole some time to browse the website whilst doing work. then i saw this..

gorgeous aren't they?
*drools*

i don't remember liking animal prints before but since i saw Topshop's leopard blazer, i fell in love with animal printings.
both me and mom agreed that this blazer's awesome. too bad it was expensive. or else i think mom would actually buy me this. haha. i can still dream right? so anyway, those booties are to die for. it's only USD68. *cough* birthday present*cough*

LOL.

midi mini maxi

oh my god.it's true! Midi is making its comeback. Midi, a mid-calf length skirt that was made famous in the 70s. it's high-waisted and shows off ur slim figure. a friend from this.style.is.mine blogged about it the other day. seems that designers Marc Jacobs and Tory Burch joined in the midi bandwagon. and i have to say their collections are simply gorgeous. orange is definitely the new black.

you can see Marc's if you click on thisstyleismine above and below are Tory's Spring 2011 collections. enjoy!

i absolutely looooove this one. i'd wear it in a heartbeat.
well, provided i have the money to buy it.haha.

intriguing

last week i went grocery shopping with my dad. i was walking at the snacks aisle when i saw these. i was shocked to see so much new flavors! have i been gone that long? lol. i had the urge to buy all of them except one. everything else make sense but the one on far right just doesn't. blueberry & hazelnut chips?? err..

but you never know right. it might taste good.em,yeah...

anyway, i tried grilled shrimp and they were pink. yes, pink chips. wasn't that scary to eat though because they tasted good! i like 'em and i think my dad likes 'em too. but mom wasn't too keen. she said, 'tak sedap' (they're not nice). haha. oh well, different people different preferences.

if you ever try the blueberry & hazelnut, pls let me know how it goes.

dare to try?
